HB-LEDs in SSL General Lighting The worldwide consumption value of HB-LEDs used in solid-state lighting (SSL) general lighting was $1.22 billion in 2011, according to a just-completed market research report by ElectroniCast Consultants.
Only LEDs that fall in the HB-LED category (LEDs with 30lm/W or higher) are counted in this market forecast.
Examples of HB-LEDs in General Lighting include:
